A voice defined once, applied everywhere
We agree the tone, the reading level, the words you never use and the claims you cannot make. Every description is generated against those rules, so the hundredth product sounds like the first.
Done for you · Shopify and WooCommerce
Two hundred products with the manufacturer's blurb copied in, half of them missing alt text, none of them structured for search. This is the job AI is genuinely good at, and the one nobody has time to do by hand.
Register interestCatalogue content is where small stores lose search traffic quietly. Descriptions pasted from a supplier are duplicated across every other retailer selling the same thing; images have no alt text, which costs you both accessibility and image search; and the structured data that makes rich results possible is usually missing entirely.
Fixing that by hand is weeks of dull work, which is why it never happens. Generating it carelessly is worse — invented specifications end up in front of customers. We do it at volume, against your actual product data, with a person checking before anything is imported.
The gap
None of this is a software problem. The tools have existed for years. The problem is that running them properly is somebody's full-time job.
The service
We agree the tone, the reading level, the words you never use and the claims you cannot make. Every description is generated against those rules, so the hundredth product sounds like the first.
Specifications, materials and dimensions come from your own product data and supplier sheets. If a fact is not in the source, it does not appear in the copy — this is the single most important rule in the job, and it is where careless AI content goes wrong.
Descriptive alt text across the catalogue, which helps screen reader users first and image search second. It is also a straightforward accessibility failure to leave out, and most stores have hundreds of them.
Product schema, titles and meta descriptions built to a consistent pattern, so search engines can read what the page actually sells.
A person reviews a sample from every category, and everything for regulated or claim-sensitive products. Nothing is imported that has not been looked at.
We export what is there now before we change anything, then import in batches. If you hate it, the previous state goes back.
How it works
Step 01
A full export of the catalogue as it stands today, backed up before anything is touched. That backup is what we restore from if you do not like the result.
Step 02
Tone, reading level, the claims you are allowed to make, the words you never use, and what to do when the source data for a product is thin. Written down once, applied to everything.
Step 03
The catalogue is written against your product data. A person reviews a sample from every category, and every item for anything regulated or claim-sensitive.
Step 04
In tranches rather than all at once, spot-checked live as they go. Anything wrong goes back to the previous version rather than being patched in place.
What you get
This one is usually a project rather than a retainer: a fee for the catalogue as it stands, then a smaller monthly amount to keep new products consistent. We quote once we have seen how many SKUs there are and what state the data is in.
We take on a small number of stores at a time so that each one gets looked at properly.
FAQ
Google's guidance is about whether content is helpful and original, not about how it was produced. Duplicated supplier copy is the thing that actually hurts you now. What we generate is specific to your products and your voice, and reviewed before it goes live — that is the part that matters either way.
Because it writes from your product data, not from general knowledge, and because a person checks it. For anything with a regulated claim — supplements, cosmetics, children's products — we review every item rather than a sample, and we will tell you where your source data is too thin to write from.
Days rather than months for most stores, and the bottleneck is nearly always the review rather than the generation. We will give you a realistic date once we have seen the export.
We rerun it. That is the advantage of the rules being written down rather than living in whoever wrote the last description.
Send us your store and a few details. We will look at what you have, then come back with what we think we can do, what it would cost, and how soon we could start — or with an honest no.
