1. What this policy covers
This policy explains how openable.io uses cookies and similar technologies such as local storage. It applies to this website only. If you install our Cookie Consent Banner plugin on your own site, you are responsible for your own cookie policy; the plugin can find it automatically from your WordPress privacy settings.
2. How we ask for consent
When you first visit, a banner asks which categories you allow. Nothing non-essential loads until you choose. Your choice is stored in your browser for 365 days, after which we ask again. This banner is the same Cookie Consent Banner we sell for WordPress.

3. What we use
- Strictly necessary: a single browser storage entry,
cc_consent, that remembers your cookie choices, together with a random consent ID that lets us match the record if you ever ask about it. It holds no name or contact details. Stripe sets its own cookies on stripe.com during checkout for fraud prevention. - Analytics (optional): we use Google Analytics 4 in Consent Mode. Until you allow analytics it sets no cookies and sends only anonymous, cookieless pings; once you accept, it stores its
_gacookies to measure visits and which pages lead to sign-ups and purchases. We may also load Plausible Analytics, a cookieless service. - Marketing and preferences: we do not currently use any cookies in these categories. The options appear in the banner so you can see how the plugin handles them.
4. Browser controls
You can also block or delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Doing so may cause the consent banner to appear again on your next visit.
